CANCELLATION POLICY

Price change for Christmas 2010 and New Year day




Standard Terms & Conditions

  • All A1 Airport Transfers vehicles carry Hire & Reward insurance to their maximum passenger carrying capacity and will at no times exceed this. Please note that a child counts as one passenger.
  • The price quoted is from point of pick up directly to the destination given. Any deviations, waiting time, additional stops or pick-ups will be charged.
  • A1 Airport Transfers can only accept written, faxed, emailed or verbal bookings (telephone), which are passed through our office
  • A1 Airport Transfers are not held responsible for any bookings made directly to the driver.
  • A1 Airport Transfers reserves the right to subcontract the booking to an alternative company as long as an equal or greater grade/size vehicle is supplied.
  • A1 Airport Transfers takes no responsibility for any vehicles that may be delayed due to traffic congestion, traffic diversions, road works, weather conditions, security alerts, civil riot, acts of God, war, or any other delays out of its control.
  • Passengers who require the driver to use a longer route will be charged. If it is the driver's own choice to use a longer route then no extra charge will be made
  • A1 Airport Transfers does not guarantee to complete any journey in any given time and will not be accountable for any loss or inconvenience which may arise from delays occurring from any cause whatsoever.
  • A1 Airport Transfers will always attempt to ensure its passenger's safe and speedy arrival.
  • National Holidays (Bank Holidays/Christmas/New Years) and from mid-night to 6am can be subject to price increases
  • Payment made via credit/debit cards will be subject to a small booking fee.
  • Additional waiting time is charged at £15.00 per hour.
  • Gratuities are not included and are at your discretion.
     

Airport Collections/Drop Off's

  • All A1 Airport Transfers drivers will wait by the exit from the arrivals hall or meeting point can be arranged as aiport information or by the Hertz car rental desk displaying the passengers name on a A1 Airport Transfers display board. If the passenger fails to make contact with the driver, they must contact the office by telephone as soon as possible in order to locate the driver. Failure to do so will incur a cancellation charge plus any waiting time and/or parking fees
  • A1 Airport Transfers accepts no responsibility or liability for any loss or damage to any luggage or property carried in or on the vehicle.
  • The company's driver has the right to refuse any passenger or to make any journey due to the passenger having excess luggage resulting in the vehicle being unsafe.
  • Price quoted for all airport collections include a meet and greet and a 40 mins waiting time for car park expenses.
  • Please contact our office at least 4 hours before the scheduled time of arrival if there is a cancellation for a pick up from the Airport. Any cancellation inside the 4 hours will be charged at the full rate.

Luggage Policy

  • Prices quoted are per vehicle - In the majority of cases, it is our luggage's policy is each passenger is entitled to carry with them one standard-sized suitcase or holdall and one piece of hand luggage of a similar size as allowed by airlines. Further luggage may be carried but PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS MAY BE SUBJECT TO A FURTHER CHARGE FOR WHICH YOU WILL BE LIABLE AT THETIME. Please contact us prior to travel if you are travelling with golf clubs, surf boards or any other exceptional item so that we can pass this information on to our drivers who will be providing the service to you, as a larger vehicle size may be required.

Cancellation Policy

  • No reservation which has been accepted by the Provider may be cancelled by the Passenger except with the agreement in writing, by email, telephone or otherwise of the Provider and on terms that the Passenger shall indemnify the Provider in full against all loss (including loss of profit), damages, charges and expenses incurred by the Provider as a result of cancellation.
  • Vehicles are booked by Passengers as requested. Saloon and Estate cars carry a maximum of 4 passengers & luggage. Vehicles to carry a larger no of passengers & luggage are available & are to be booked as required, (for luggage limitations & vehicle types and relevance view vehicles). Vehicles that are booked by Passengers that are not suitable for the purpose for which they have been booked for as stated earlier will be subject to clause 3.3 of Cancellation Policy. Vehicles that are cancelled by passengers after reservation acceptance by the provider shall incur a £5.00 charge.
  • Cancellation's must be informed of a minimum of 24 hour's prior to the time of booking by: Telephone: +44 (0) 845 0543 757.
    • Cancellation's informed 24 hours + prior to the time of booking £5.00 cancellation charge incurred.
    • Cancellation's informed 4 to 24 hour's prior to the time of booking cancellation charge incurred: 25% of quoted price for provision of service.
    • Cancellation's not informed up to 4 hour's prior to the time of booking cancellation charge incurred: 100% of quoted price for provision of service.

Price change for Christmas 2010 and New Year day 01/01/2011

  • 50 % surcharge would apply addition to the normal fare for the following days:
  • Christmas Eve  from 16.00 hrs till 24.00 hrsTime and Half.
  • Christmas Day  from 00.00 hrs till 24.00 hrs.Time and Half.
  • Boxing Day from 00.00 hrs till 24.00 hrsTime and Half.
  • New Year Eve  from 16.00 hrs till 24.00 hrsTime and Half.
  • New Year Day  from 00.00 hrs till 24.00 hrsTime and Half.
